I accidentally fell into the Motor Industry 23 years ago and haven’t looked back. Starting my career as a Training Administrator and then Team Leader @ Honda UK, I served 16 years with them, it was a great place to work. In the meantime, my husband decided to start his own business in 2010 (Pro-Moto), specialising in Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Technology. By 2016 he was getting more and more established, needing some help in the office with organisation, admin and Quality Assurance, I left Honda in 2016 to join him and the rest is history.
Being able to a qualify clients training needs, knowing our Team will deliver to a very high standard and receiving outstanding feedback from our clients – confirming that we have met/exceeded expectations and contributed to upskilling Technicians in the Hybrid/EV Market.
We listen to our clients and are always happy to adapt our courses to meet the need of the customer. We treat our staff how we would like to be treated ourselves. We have a “can do” attitude, nothing is ever too much trouble.
With the right attitude, there are many opportunities, starting from the bottom, working your way up to the top. Work hard and reap the rewards.
It was difficult when my children were younger but not so much of a problem these days. I have a good work/life balance.
I really enjoy live music, gigs, festivals etc. Spending time with friends, spin classes, gym and swimming.
From a environmental perspective it’s a no brainer. However, the infrastructure for charging needs to improve. The vehicle range needs to be higher and people need to be educated on these vehicles, not just the Technicians but the end customer.
